Hopefully, I can help them to cope with what has happened or is happening to them by detailing my own ordeal, and how I coped, felt and dealt with what was happening to me... Ysabele's Room To ensure that fellow teachers get the right sort of training in helping identify child abuse victims. My counselling for it finished last year, and I know that healing and recovery from my own child abuse is still in its infancy. Throughout all of this, I am also happy to share my journey with others. My son was abused when he was five by his biological father and his father's girlfriend...CPS left my son in his father's home...until one day, when his father went too far and broke his arm.
