Awakening:

A Path Toward Healing and Recovery

Awakening: The path toward healing and recovery

This Awakening page is dedicated to child abuse survivors who are on a life-altering journey. A journey that for some--like me--is one that will bring understanding of their true purpose in life. One that will bring inner peace, joy and contentment. A journey that for countless child abuse survivors will be one of healing and recovery.

I invite you to contribute with the story of your own personal journey. The bumps you've tripped over. The hills you've climbed. The path that has led you to a decidedly spiritual place.

Remember that the journey looks different for everyone. No two people follow the same path.

There is no one way. No wrong way. Just the journey itself.

As I've moved along my own path of healing, I've become more and more spiritual. Not in a religious or theological sense. But in a connectiveness sense.

I believe we are all One. We are all a part of the same energy that flows. And as part of our awakening, we can help each other.
