You submitted your story quite some time ago…my sincere apologies for taking so long to post. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem. I do thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

We can be triggered by so many things: a picture (as was the case with you, Tomika), a smell or taste or touch, a situation with your own child. These triggers are opportunities for healing, if we choose them to be. And of course, the choice is up to each and every one of us to make individually.
