 It is the feelings that are distructive

First thing you need to know is you did absolutely nothing to cause your father to abuse you. Second thing is sex of every kind at some point feels good even if you hate what is happening to you.

These two parts of sexual abuse cause more problems with how victims feel. Many of them spend years trying to discover what they did to bring their parent to forcing themselves on their own child. You did nothing other then be under their control.

Every victim faces the most damaging problem. Why when they hated everything that happened at some point they had a feeling of pleasure and they hated that feeling more than the event itself. Just about every person in the world will have sex in their life experience and it usually has positive and warm feelings involved. The visualization withing the brain, body fluids and everyone's nervous system stimulate the intensity of the feelings. If there were no feelings in the process there would be far fewer children in the world.

You cannot change what happened to you but you can break the pattern with your own children. Believe what they tell you and encourage them by not punishing for what they say period.
