Delighted you are leaving him
by: Darlene Barriere

I hope it's for good this time. The average number of times a woman goes back to her husband, married or common-law, is [35 times] before she leaves for good. I'm really hoping you have enough support in your life to [not] reach that disturbing statistic. Take care of yourself and your children, Paloma. You all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Not Your Fault
by: Francine

I tried to leave my mother, too, because she wouldn't stop touching me inappropriately. I think you should've told someone so that way, you'd be safe sooner. No matter how much your "boyfriend" promised, it's not an excuse! I think you should tell somebody. I'm very sorry that happened to you! Let's just hope that the abuse like that never happens again!
