SO much hope...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Oh yes, Kaysha, there most definitely IS hope. And you are a poster child for that hope. You have made something of your life, in spite of what you endured at the hands of a child abuser and molester.

I am finding my fifties to be a spectacular time of my life...I hope you find your fifties to be equally spectacular. You certainly are well on your way. I have no doubt that in your chosen field you will turn pain into power. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

by: maurice

Oh Kaysha, you believe in all of the above from this day on. you sure are the greatest success story after abuse. You've believed in difficult and trying times when that aniaml of a the male species put you through pain. It was not my fault ever. He was the horrible man that did all the abuse on me and to me. Oh Kaysha always believe in yourself. You are a gifted woman in your own right. From this day on walk tall, walk straight, walk the world right in the eye as a professional caring woman. I am certain when Darlene tells you there is life after abuse and it begins for you at fifty. I've left the fifties behind me but they were certainly the best for me making my sixties great NOW. Kaysha Darlene heart is truly a caring/loving/affirming one especially in the comment she wrote to you. Look at the wonderful and beautiful me in your mirror. Be proud of yourself for all you've achieved. Good on you Kaysha. You've proved there is life after abuse and yes you have achievd having been a victim made it a victory for yourself. Have a healthy mind in a healthy body sure Nurse you should be saying that to me. Thank you. God be with you on your journey. Live well, laugh alot, LOVE much starting with yourself.Give yourself one big Cuddly HUG to start each day. era go on it will make you feel good

Not Your Fault
by: Anonymous

Kaysha, I'm glad that you're in a safe place now and I really hope that this sick and sadistic excuse of a grandpa finally gets incarcerated for all those terrible crimes that he committed against you and your sisters because you guys really did nothing wrong. Have you guys tried counselling? I will pray for you. God bless you, Kaysha.

Hurray for you
by: Mike

I think you have chosen a wonderful career and you will surely be able to help others. I would say your grandfather should be locked up, but I imagine he's probably gone now.

I just want to wish you the best of luck in your future.
