When there are children involved in a couple who have split, the system often misguidedly decides abuse allegations are all about custody issues. And rather than conduct an appropriate investigation, biases enter into the picture, which leaves the child completely unprotected. Your daughter is doing what she needs to do in order to bring safety in her life, but it seems the system is blocking her every step. Kudos to her for having some common sense and for the courage to take her Self away from the abuse. Consider going up the ladder. If you don't get satisfaction from a supervisor at CPS, reach out to your member of parliament or member of Congress, depending on where you live. Failing any appropriate action, consider go to the newspaper with your story. I can't guarantee any action, but perhaps you'll find someone along the way who can truly help your daughter. Thank you for sharing your daughter's story with my visitors and me. I send you both love, light and healing energy.
