I couldn't agree more. Child abuse IS most definitely avoidable. And each of us has to do our part to that end. Those of us who have been abused can take action in a way that turns pain into power. You've done that today by sharing a little about what happened to you. And because of what happened to you, you understand the flaws in the system; and are now speaking out. Speaking out can make a world of difference in a world that often seems indifferent. Keep speaking out, Donelle, and thank you for sharing your thoughts and all-important message with my visitors and me.
