I know you submitted your story quite some time ago. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem. My apologies for taking so long to post.

Your message is a powerful one. It wasn't your fault, being among them. AND the fact that you told...you can be so proud of yourself. You told in spite of the fear. AND you were open to getting help. These are all so important to bring healing into our lives. You are an inspiration!

I send you continued healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Dear Angela
by: Jessica

Thank you for sharing your story. Its a really hard thing to share something so personal. I know I had many many years of sexual abuse and it started early on in my life as well.

It takes a long time to recover from these things and it takes bravery to tell a story like that but it is a very healing thing to do. You are doing the right thing by sharing your struggles.

Of course you were never responsible for what happened and guilt is something that is natural to feel afterwards but those feelings of guilt will never mean you are guilty. Also anyone who tells you it was your fault has a lot of problems and lack any sort of understanding. You will always get people who don't understand but it just means they haven't had those experiences or perhaps they have never dealt with them.

I'm so glad that you have made some good decisions in your life and so early on to! Getting out of that situation by yourself is a very incredible thing to have done. It took me until I was 20 to get out of my situation but I feel good that I too could find my own way out.

You are a very brave young woman who has a lot of life and good living to do. I believe you can overcome anything and you will never be alone in this world.

Thank you again for your courage!

I know you are strong and will have good relationships in your life.
