To Zoe:
by: Darlene - Webmaster

I know you submitted your story quite some time ago. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem. My apologies for taking so long to post.

There are people you can turn to, Zoe. What your brother did, and is STILL doing to control and manipulate you gives you every reason to be scared. He's bad news. The chances are, he won't stop unless he's forced to stop.

I urge you to contact Child Help at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) in order to talk to someone. They are staffed 24/7 with professionally trained counsellors who will listen to you. They are not a reporting agency, although they can help you through the process of reporting if you decide to disclose the abuse. Visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: https://www.childhelp.org/hotline/

You don't deserve to live in constant fear of him, Zoe. Please tell someone. You don't have to stay helpless. Child Help is a good place to go.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
