interesting perspective
by: My Two Cents

MH, you bring up an interesting perspective. We as a society have decided that children who are thought to be dangered need to be protected from that danger immediately and the way to do that is to remove them from their parents and communities, understand, for their "protection."

This ignores the fact that they have done nothing wrong....

Perhaps a better approach would be to move the offender(s)? I am not sure why this is not done now...I can understand child welfare not telling people they are being investigated to avoid jeopardizing the investigation but once the child has been placed in foster care, it's pretty obvious why...so perhaps we as a society need to rethink moving the children into foster care?

It will be interesting to see this debate occur....
