it is one big struggle by a very small percent of caring people
by: maurice

Every Country has the same difficulties getting changes to defend the rights and dignity of Children, The maginalised, The Rape laws are archival never updated in years. You have highlighted something very important. You can only make a difference where you are at. Let your voice be heard, get committed and dediated trusted people around you to support you. It is still worrying where an abuser can live in a community waiting trial even it has been proved that He/She commited The Abuse. Lobbying politicians is one tough occupation where the Law is concerned. In Ireland only this week even though the Man was found guilty of Rape in a small court house near where he lived 50 or so people walked into the court and shook his hand including a church man. The innocent victim sat there as if it never happened after he was sentensed to 7 years. So even in a small rural part of Ireland The Law does not protect the innocent party. But this is the same the world over State by State in America and even where you are at in Canada. Be brave, be strong and persevere fighting for your rights and that of others. You are the best, you are a carer, you are a fighter for justice to be done. Good on you.
