Your abusers are to blame, not you...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Ebilz, I'm so glad that your suicide attempt did not succeed. The world needs people who have been mistreated and offended against to speak out about such terrible acts. We need people who know that what happened to them was wrong to help teach others how wrong it was. We need people who remember what it was like to be abused to grow up knowing and doing better with their own children. In short, Ebilz, the world needs you. Don't for one second think otherwise. There CAN be purpose in the pain you've endured.

And don't ever blame yourself for not telling sooner. The vast majority of sexual abuse victims DO NOT tell; and they do not tell because of fear. Many, like you dear, are afraid of reprisals from their abusers. The number 1 reason is that they are afraid they won't be believed. I do hope you are getting some type of counselling for the way you were mistreated by everyone.

If you haven't already read some of the information pages here on this site, I'll point you toward a few of them. You might find them helpful:You've had to grow up before most, Ebilz. Stand up tall and hold your head up high, because you've survived some of the most terrible things a child can go through. That makes you very strong in my books.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. And just for the record, you wrote very well.

your story
by: touched2mysoul

You are still a child yet you have been dealt very difficult things... I am sorry to hear of what has happened to you... you are strong for telling... it was not your fault... none of it...
I am sorry for your pain and the loss of your innocents as a child... you can move past this but it will take time, understanding, love and someone who can listen and hear you...
I wish you help... I wish you love...I pray for you to find the right person to talk to and help...
