Thank you!

by Abbey
(Manchester, UK)

I've been researching sites on abuse in childhood, as I want to make this my dissertation. Yours has been comprehensive, open and enlightened. Here we have a truly scientific e-page without any of the nomenclature. I've been in touch with the major UK universities, but they don't offer PhD programmes in abuse. From a Marxist point of view, that's just as well. Yes, you confirmed my deepest suspicions.

Depending on system activity, there are sometimes delays in comments going live on my site; but rest assured, they do eventually appear. So if you don't yet see them, I hope you will return later to read what I, and possibly others, have written. I thank you for your patience and understanding.

A reciprocating thank you...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Abbey, thank you for your kind words about my site. I work very hard to ensure the information is comprehensive, while providing a safe and supportive interactive experience for my visitors.

I've learned over the years that personal experience sometimes trumps formal education, but that the latter is necessary in order to be recognized as an authority in professional circles.

I apologize for taking so long to post your submission, Abbey. There have been several behind the scenes situations that have taken up a great deal of my time.

I wish you all the best with your abuse in childhood dissertation, and in your future goals. It's obvious you care a great deal about children.
