These are all wonderful ways to find the lighter side of life. Thank you for sharing this with my visitors and me. And just so you know, I'm almost 52 years old and I still dance by myself and get silly about it every so often. Lady GaGa and Adam Lambert REALLY have me getting silly these days...lol.

Nice One, The lighter side of one's Life
by: maurice

I like time for myself simply because I can be me away from the maddening crowds of people. Out out into the wilds of the country side just walking, sitting by streams and being free without elaborating. listening to the natural sounds all around me letting the wind blow away my heavyness of thoughts. The freedom for me is a re-energiser Thank you for sharing your taking time for oneself. Thank you Darlene We all need our sacred time on our own. I retreat evry few months in monasteries to rebuild my spiritual energies. A must for me.

Celebrate the Child in You
by: Helen Louise

It is wonderful to let the feelings of the sweet child out, to love, to play, to imagine. Life can be such a blessing.

Celebrate the CHild within you
by: maurice

Helen Louise 'wow' what a loving way to live one's life to the full but to now and again let that child within be free. Just to be. already all of us have shared how important taking time out for oneself is. The reality and humanity in each of us is absolute. Thank you all for sharing. When we care, love the child within we are actually healing from abuse by doing so. Always believeing in the very special gifted person we were birthed and created.

I think these things happened to us so we don't lose our childhood,I am a child at heart, love to play in the rain, love animals and children, games,I know people that don't even see the small animals that are on this world, like a worm or butterfly, but I see the beauti that GOD has put here,FOR ME,AND YOU,when I don't worry so much bout what I have been thru and just look GOD puts beautiful things in my path and I thank him for it everyday.I have learned to be open to more things, because of my daughter and granddaughter, got to clear my head and be here for them. They should not suffer just because I did.I didn't stand up and be strong then but I AM NOW

All who contributed to the lighter side of life and living it to the full from time to time sure acknowledge we need a good laugh with family and friends naturally as often as we can: I like being around happy go lucky people who had it hard in their lives but sure can see the lighter side of it all and makes jokes: Oh yes, getting out under the open sky away from everyone and everything with nothing else around only the butterflies, the bee's, and the smell of the air and grass around us: I dare'nt tell you where I go at least once a week to be truly myself and the natural side of life and the lighter side: with God and God alone:

Taking Time For Yourself
by: Will

I was just telling my teen this. You have to take time for yourself, even if it's just doing the silly things that make you laugh. I told her I put make-up on sometimes when I'm feeling down and then they're are times I dance with myself as I look in a full body mirror. Nothing serious, just silly dancing, enjoying myself as I move to blasting music. It really does relieve the stress for a bit...Thanks for sharing. May you continue to take time for yourself.
