Standing up to a Child Abuser

Who do you think you are?

You try to tell me who to be!
You make up lies and tell me things,
Of people I don't want to be.
And once you realize this,
You'll realize I'm free.
From the troubles of this world,
To the contentment in my heart,
Maybe you'll see I've found a NEW place to start.
With my mind in control,
And my LORD above.
I've started my new life,
With bountiful love.

The words ring true for survivors who are walking the path of healing and recovery from any kind of abuse. Stay strong in your beliefs. They will take you far. Thank you for sharing with my visitors and me.

ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF:
by: maurice

Thanks to my creator God I am an inspiration to others: Your heart felt thoughts sure will uplift and give hope to many: One needs to be brave: To be strong: to perservere wanting to and in your case standing up to your Abuser: I did once and failed he was too strong for me at the time and I was totally vunerable: He's dead now and so I take hope from your verse from your heart to Darlene and all her many visitors: Yes, it is a great to have someone sharing hope with us all: It ain't easy: but you have given hope it is possible: Always Believe in yourself: Thanks a mill:
