Read in a Tree

Read in a Tree

When I get stressed out and things become too much, I go to my neighbour's house where I get paid for dog walking and offer to take their dogs out for free. I then go to my favourite field, sit up a tree and read a book while the dogs run about. They love it, and so do I. An added bonus is the fact that I will usually still get paid for it, even though I offered.

So basically, I just like to get into someone else's life and mind like I can with books, then I think about their life, not mine!

You've hit on a really good way to relax and escape the stresses of life. And I agree; books are a fantastic way to get into the lives and minds of others in a positive way. Wonderful that you think about your neighbour's dogs.
