Turn to your government, if necessary...
by: Darlene Barriere - webmaster

If the Ministry of Child Protection won't help you, Maggie, go further up the chain of command. If you don't get what you need from the supervisor at the Ministry, write, phone and stand in the office of, if necessary, your local MLA (Local Government - Member Legislative Assembly). If you don't get satisfaction from your MLA, keep moving up the political chain; go to your MP (Federal Government - Member of Parliament). And if you're still not getting what you and your sons need, then I would go to the media. Your sons must come first, and you do what you need to do. If you're dealing with a jaded social worker who refuses to do the job he or she is sworn to do—to protect children—then you are forced to go to whatever lengths are necessary. If there is legal aide available to you, take it. Contact an attorney. Document everything. And most importantly, don't denigrate your sons' father to them, because if and when you do, you tell them that THEY are flawed. Please read the following post on this site by Pierrette Recent Allegations of Child Abuse and my corresponding reply titled Impossible Position. You'll have to scroll down to the bottom of the submission page. You and Pierrette have much in common.

I wish you and your sons all the best, Maggie.

So I guess it is safe to use any drug you want as a parent and raise your children to become the same way. I dont know about Canadian Child Abuse Laws but on Pei they are terrible.
