Child Abuse is Terrible

Child abuse is terrible! I'm so sad! If there is ever once a good day for me, child abuse will make it the opposite. If my brother is in trouble, I get blamed and get hurt. My mom says she will cut all my hair so I'll be bald. Wahh! :( when I cry, my parents say, "Oh, you like crying, let's hurt you more!" Parents never understand. They try to rip our ears, kick us out of the house, make us grounded, punished, and hurt us till we bleed. If you are a parent, you should know that child abuse is illegal. You should be ashamed of yourselves. It also causes bad effects on children like me. So stop, do you want us to die?! Why do you want children if you're going to treat us like this?! Would you feel good if people keep hurting you? No! Think about how we are! To all the other children like me, make a petition to stop child abuse. The world will be better for us. We will be happier and better. Please help! By the way, child abuse prevention month is April. So if you still want to do child abuse, that's your problem, just do the least amount in April. If i ever become president, I will make a group of adults who care for stopping child abuse, convince and make you stop child abuse. Together we can stop/prevent child abuse!

Thank you for sharing your so very important message and your story with my visitors and me. You didn't say where you live, so I can't offer a specific number for you to call. I suggest you contact one of the hotlines listed on my stories page, depending on where you live, in order to talk to someone confidentially. You don't deserve to be mistreated. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Just always remember that what's happening to you at the hands of your parents is not your fault. This is about THEM, not about anything you've done. Please contact one of those hotline numbers.

You sure made a good point because you're right: CHILD ABUSE IS WRONG. Your "parents" (well, if you still can call them that) are truly twisted, warped, confused, and cruel in their own ways of thinking. They didn't deserve to have such a beautiful child like you. Oh, and making jokes about you crying, they should've known better and loved and cherished you in the first place...and they need help, so the sooner you tell somebody you trust, the better.

Child Abuse in any form or degree is very wrong
by: maurice

We'll never ever know the real effects of Childhood Abuse: There were 60 boys in the school I was abused at: We were all abused physically in the same way: I am certain that each boy was someway effected by that spanking/beating degraded/humiliated: by the one person who did it: even some have said to me recently he was a very perverted individual in other ways too: So 54 years later the effects are still lingering on in the minds of us all: Thankfully even though 50% of us received counselling we still have flash backs etc: Thank You Darlene: thank you the writer of this story: You sharirg brings out the truth about the real effects of child abuse no matter the degree it was perpetrated on an innocent child/adolecent/young adult: Thank you
