Child abuse is a crime being done and nobody is doing anything to stop it. Children are growing with the thought of abuse being a good thing or thinking that it's normal to be abuse and be treated like a piece of land or an object.

I couldn't agree more; child abuse IS a bad thing for society. But there are people who are trying to do something about child abuse. It's a very complex issue. Laws put children at risk when they don't offer protection that is afforded adults. Adults put children at risk when they refuse to accept that children should have rights equal to that of adults. Society puts children at risk when they turn a blind eye and when programs designed to help parents and children alike are either cut or not given an opportunity to thrive. I hope that you, Adriana, along with others, will not turn a blind eye and will not live with the status quo and will do what needs to be done to protect our most vulnerable and innocent in society. Children are not possessions, but as long as we treat them as such, they will continue to be abused. You are the future, Adriana; and that future can determine the future of the most precious of all things: our children. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about child abuse with my visitors and me.

Adrianna you sure are with it for todays world in 2010@ Child abuse is a Bad Thing for Society: It is great that you expressed your view and personal thoughtfulness in the whole area of abuse: You certainly gave Darlene her affirmation in all she's being doing in this whole area since she herself overcame abuse: She knows exactly what you are highlighting to the rest of her visitors: I agree wholeheartily with you Adrianna Like you I can only blossom where I am at in the corner of the world I live in: The debate is high on the agenda here in Ireland: The majority of sane thinking human beings agree equally with you that Abuse is a bad thing for Society: I can with a my group do something about it: By educating people what abuse is all about and the effects it has on those innocent/vunerable children it happened to back the years and still in families going on: You and I with the advice and help of Darlene in her comment can do our bit for those abused, in the hope we alleviate society of this awful crime on humanity: Please be a voice for the voiceless Adrianna in the small corner you live in: Thank you again: Stay safe, be safe, live well, laugh alot, love much and live your life to the full doing good for community you live in: Oh always try to have a healthy mind in a healthy body:
