Child Abuse: As adults only now realizing it

by Elaine V.
(Northern Ireland)

We, who have been abused, need as much help and support as we can get:
I would just like to thank you for your site (and I will be buying your book). I suffer from lots of psychological and emotional problems (all that you mention on your site) and as a consequence, am doing a degree in psychology. My parents physically and emotionally abused my sisters and I when we were children, but the funny thing is we are only realising that now (I am now 47). Your site has inspired me, as have numerous others, and I thank you for that.

Good luck with the rest of your work!

Love and best wishes
