I've had to suppress the photo you included to maintain privacy, Charlene. Especially since you didn't identify why the photo was there and who was in it.

I gather that what's holding up obtaining your birth record is that the people who took you in refuse to give you the information you need about your birth so that you can get a birth certificate? Would they themselves have one? Isn't a birth certifricate necessary for you to get any other licences in the future, like a driver's licence or passport? Or is some other ID acceptable? Perhaps there are issues regarding your birth parents? In my country of Canada, the birth parents are not recorded on birth certificates. But perhaps you're looking for "birth records" rather than a birth "certificate", the documents that will tell you who your birth parents actually are?

As you can see, after reading your story, I have more questions than answers. And here's 2 more:

Have you talked to the people who care fror you about obtaining what you're looking for? Or have you considered applying through the courts? I'm not sure what other options you have.
