You did the right thing
by: Darlene Barriere - webmaster

You're a great friend, Kathryn. And you have the right attitude; it is better that she be mad at you and safe than it is for her to be happy with you and being abused at home.

The best way to help your friend is to continue to be supportive and to listen to her if she wants to talk about what she's been through. Make sure you take care of yourself, Kathryn. What you've been through can be stressful and very hard to deal with; talk to someone you trust if and when you feel the need.

Lucky
by: Summer

Your friend is lucky you told for her. I get abused by my teacher and no one tells for me. I wish someone would tell for me because I am too scared to tell myself. Someday your friend will thank you. You did something for her, that she couldn't do for herself. Who knows what would have happened to help if you kept quiet.......
