You have done a marverlous job of putting across the message that just because some one is suffering a mental Illness is not to be looked upon as violent, crazy, some one to avoid etc.
I wish you were around when I was discharged from spending nearly three years in mental institutions. I had a terrible time adjusting to the outside and it did not make it better when some people met me and found out I had been in a mental hospital and I was looked down upon as if I had some kind of contagious disease.
I also had severe scars on my arms from self inflicted wounds so even if I could hide from the inside I was still visible from the outside.
It took me a while before I could learn to live with my physical scars. I finally found some good friends who lifted me up with love and encouragement. They gave me hope and believed in me.

This was many years ago, now I work in the health field, I love working with people the more they need me the more I shine.
