My sincere apologies for taking so long to post your story. I've been dealing with eye issues that have made reading online a major problem.

Mothers spend so much time blaming themselves for everything. Did you miss the signs? Maybe. But you can spend countless hours and days rehashing what you could have done differently. And it won't change a thing. Did you create this "monster" as you call him? No. But someone probably did. It is highly likely that your son was sexually abused himself. 13-year-olds don't typically do this to their sisters unless they've been exposed themselves.

I do hope your daughters have now had access to counselling. And you too. The whole situation is just so...tragic. Families are never the same in the aftermath of sexual abuse.

Thank you for sharing your family's story with my visitors and me. I send you and all your family love and heartfelt healing energy.

What that Mother did for her daughters was heroic. I can attest to how a Mother can damage her children even more by ignoring or favoring the perpetrator over the victims. It happened that way with me when I disclosed by accident to my family... I was blamed for telling... so GOD BLESS the Mother of that family....
