I am so sorry this happened to you and your sister. Your Grammy was clearly disturbed to have done these horrible things to you. And as a child, of course you would have thought it was "normal".

The Team Up people must have suspected that there was some kind of abuse going on when they let you and your sister stay until 8 at night. There are mandatory reporting laws for known and suspected child abuse, and the Team Up people would have been among those mandated reporters. Even if you or your sister didn't tell. I can't say what would have happened had they reported in your case, but they had a legal obligation to do so. So not only were you betrayed and rejected by your grammy, you were betrayed and abandoned by the system put in place to protect you both.

Thank you for sharing your story, Tammy. I send you and your sister loving healing energy.
