You're a caring and compassionate woman. Those children are worthy of the advocacy you're showing them, even if it's from the sidelines. I would contact the media and tell them the story if all other avenues open to me were exhausted. Perhaps exposing the corrupt and negligent system would get them moving on behalf on these (and other) abused children. I send you and these children love, light and healing energy, Sarah. Thank you for sharing this story with my visitors and me.

From Darlene - Webmaster: To all visitors to this thread, I've deleted the comments from this particular commenter because her numerous, oftentimes multiple posts are wholly inappropriate, and she refuses to stop posting here on this site. This is all I can do to keep you informed, as I cannot block her. I thank you for your understanding. And I send the woman love, light and healing energy.

media, political resources

Try Lindor Reynolds of the Wpg Free Press. She has won quite a few awards for her work reporting on child prostitution and the situation with Phoenix Sinclair.

Colleen Simard is another reporter that may be helpful - she used to publish an aboriginal newspaper and she currently writes a column for the Winnipeg Free Press.

With regards to politicians, I have been disappointed, especially with the lack of action on the Phoenix Sinclair inquiry, but if you didn't know, Premier Greg Salinger is a social worker by training. He was a professor at the U of Manitoba in the faculty of social work back in the mid 90s. A letter or a call to his office might be helpful.

An another approach would be the alternative media like Marty Gold or "the Black Rod" (google will find it).

Hope that helps.

I wish I could be of more help.
