To Stephanie:
by: Darlene - Healing Coach

So many layers here. Many of us survivors choose a line of work that builds on rescue of some sort. For some, it takes us in a direction that can both help and hinder our own healing. The former, for a time, the latter, as time moves forward. The choice is always ours to make as to whether or not to use the opportunities presented for our own recovery. And you chose that, Stephanie. Maybe it was because of prompting, but you still chose it.

Thank you for sharing you story here with us. And as always, I send you continued loving healing energy.

Thank you
by: Steph

I wrote this 16 years ago, back when I had absolutely no idea how strong I was. While I am still a very humble person, I no longer minimize the strength and ability that it took to leave the bad experiences behind, and carry the life lessons forward. Sometimes I still need to remind myself, as I think we all do. Thank you both for your kind words and support.
