You are a loving soul...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

The fact that you have a relationship with your parents is a testament to your inner strength and ability to forgive, Mary. You are truly an amazing person. Again, thank you for sharing your stories on my site for the benefit of my visitors.

What an uncaring authority
by: Francine

Mary, those so-called authorities were extremely uncaring! Shame on them for dropping the ball! They let you down and they "willingly" let you down criminally! They should've seen the red flags of abuse! I'm so sorry that they willingly took your parents' side over yours and I can relate, again...I knew that, even as a little girl, everyone that knew my family "loved" them and would never take my side. For instance, my parents really loved my brother and refused to take my side whenever I tell them what he does to me. I really feel you.
