How wonderful that you had your amazing stepmother to help you through so much, first with showing you a mother's true love, then as an advocate when it came to your father. And the fact that you have forgiven your mother shows me how far you've really come. You are well on the road of healing and recovery. Keep up the GREAT work! And if you do find yourself slipping back, don't be shy about seeking out some counseling. It wouldn't mean that you haven't actually gotten to where you believe you've gotten, it would mean that you need a bit of a booster. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
