Jamaica has a child abuse registry...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Yanique, I'm so very glad you saw that suicide wasn't the answer. What you wanted was to be out of pain because that pain was seemingly so unbearable. You, dear one, have so much to offer our world, so stay focused on your purpose here. You are a very determined young woman, a young woman who will make a difference.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. And if you find yourself being abused, please contact the Office of the Children's Registry to report what is happening to you. They can be reached at 1-888-PROTECT (1-888-776-8328). Although they do not actually investigate cases of child abuse, they do refer cases to the appropriate agency for an investigation to be launched.

man...I know how u feel..but with all that anger that is inside you..you need help. Tell someone...I know u are scared and feeling know one gives a damn, but that is not true. Please go get help..don't let this awful thing rule your life. I have been through the same feelings. The hate and wanting to take it out on any one I could and I did. I was that way until I took the first step...and it was one of the hardest thing I ever did at that time...and I thank God every day I did that first step. Hope you will think about it. Good luck.
