When it comes to child abuse, there is often an inter-generational link. What's important now is getting relief for your Self...and you're already doing that. When negative emotions strike, just go for the best-feeling thought you can find. As you wrote your story here, that's exactly what you did. Keep going. Keep finding the positive. And then keep going. Find the good things in your life, and have gratitude for them. And then focus on THOSE feelings, the positive ones. Emotions are our guidance system to what we're attracting in our lives. The more you can go for positive emotions and feelings, the more positivity will come into your life.
