What a remarkably resilient woman you are! To have come from such horrendous abuse, both in your family and with the system, yet to be able to see your inner beauty nonetheless and to be able to trust...WOW! The most loving thing you did for yourself was to cut your ties with your obviously sick and twisted mother. I understand that so well. I did the same thing, for the exact same reason. When my mother tried to break up my marriage—the first healthy thing I had ever chosen in my life—that was the end of our relationship. It seems neither of us would allow the abuse to continue. Thank you so much for sharing your story with my visitors and me. You most definitely are an inspiration for anyone who thinks they can't find a path toward healing and recovery.

Such a sick, sick excuse of a mother
by: Anonymous

TG, your beast of a mother is a sick woman, not to mention a control freak with an ignorant, uneducated mind. She didn't deserve to have such a beautiful daughter like you, but most of all, you certainly didn't deserve to have such a sick, uneducated, twisted, uncaring, sadistic, barbaric, animalistic, brutal, unloving, malicious, ruthless mother. I am delighted that you cut the ties from that brute because you did nothing wrong; in fact, you were the child, she was the adult. She had all the power and she only misused it. She really should've been locked up in prison with her slimy boyfriends together. I also hope you will try counselling. I am glad that your husband is with you now because he is so sweet for doing that.

What An Inspiration YOU truly are.
by: maurice

TG, I care for you, I value you, I respect you, You sure gave me real hope in the telling of your story evr so truthfully to make it real for Darlene and her Many Visitors. I Thank God for you. Each story pains me as I read and learn from each one and the awfulness of ABUSE on the innocent and the vunerable. Oh TG, Darlene's comment to you is so, coming from a woamns heart to another womans heart. Both happily married as being the one thing that the made a dicision on for themselves. She sure is together with you in all you've achieved from your Horrendous ABUSE. I know she see's you as a winner over abuse almost identical to her own victory over abuse. Well done good and faithful child of God, Child of the UNIVErse. Bless you, Thank you. Your telling of your story will inspire many but even if it does only one Then your bravery and your courage to tell will not have been in Vain. TG live well, laugh alot, love much from this day on, especially LOVE, Hug, Cuddle yourself daily. It makes you feel good all over. Thank you Darlene for your affirming comment to TG. your both the best.
