You were 13 years old, for goodness sake. NEITHER of these incidences was your fault. None of what happened was your fault. Your vulnerabilities were taken advantage of; the guy with the money KNEW you were vulnerable, and zero-ed in on that. And don't overestimate what 13-year-old's today do and don't know. 13 going on 30 is NOT an accurate depiction of that age group. They haven't come close to maturing and understanding the consequences of their actions; that doesn't happen until about age 25. So give yourself a break. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Vunerable children/teenagers are never wrong

Steven: Don't ever dwell on the belief that it wasyour fault or that you were to blame: becaue you sure were your beautiful innocent happy teen just being happy going to the movies: Your Pedo, knew how vunerable/innocent/scared you were all through: He re-assured you you would be safe etc; What these sicko's never do is be afraid when their frightend child/teen tell their parents or who ever if they are brave enough: Steven at 13/14 all boys girls who find themselves in such a vunerable place crab themselves with fear: He was a sicko as were those other men abusing the other boy: I hope you are in a safe place in your mind and self about it all Now: when I was 14 in my rural area there were pedo's too but I or the other boys they got to do things with the enticement of money: Were sicko's: some even fathers of families: I sure have never blamed myself for what they did: It was mostly boys they enticed into haysheds and out houses on the local farm: Steven: Darlene knows best: wants what is the best for you and all her visitors: Her comment is a loving encourageing one to you: You are an intellingent young thinking adult: You are clever, she knows you'll be a winner over those sicko's: Hi now is the time to have a healthy mind in a healthy body: Oh yes, get out there taking part with your own peers: Get involved with team sports and you'll make honest and real friends for life: Naturally: You'll get to know your own tallents and gifts: Be gentle and kind to yourself: Let go of the memories and indeed the effects of that bad, bad experience when you were 13: If you get the opportunity do search out a counsellor/therapist who will put it all in perspective for you: LIVE WELL: LAUGH ALOT: lOVE MUCH beginning with yourself: let your motto be from this day on be, I WILL: I CAN; I MUST: Because I AM WORTH IT:
