Just know that you are not to blame for what this neighbour did to you. He was—IS—a pedophile. Pedophiles look for vulnerable children and youth. You were vulnerable, and he took advantage of that vulnerability. You have no shame to bear. Shame and blame lies squarely on his shoulders. Even if you were aroused by what he did, that doesn't mean that you weren't abused. Sex is very stimulating. So if you did get aroused, don't blame yourself. It was simply that your body responded.

The relief you feel is understandable; you are no longer living in a place where this person can still abuse you. But you need to talk about this with someone you can trust. Someone who will never judge you. Someone who understands sexual abuse. In your country, that might be difficult. Check for resources that might be available to you. And always remember, none of what happened was your fault. You didn't deserve to be abused. You deserved and still deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and love. I send you love, light and healing energy, Stenna. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
