Privacy issues and a number to call...

Sharryn, you'll note I removed the full name of your molester and that I also removed the name of the place you grew up. While I understand your need to scream out to the world what this sex offender of a man did to you, publishing his name on my site would put me in a libelous situation. In no way was my exclusion of information on your story intended as disrespect or invalidation; I do hear you.

I also removed your phone number, Sharryn. In order to protect my visitors from Internet predators, I have a strict policy that does not allow personal identifiable information on my site. I'm sure you understand.

As for what happened to you, I urge you to contact the Australian Kids Help Line at 1800 55 1800. KHL have counsellors who will listen to you and discuss your options. The service is available 24 hours a day for children, youth and young adults between the ages of 5 - 25. Their counselling services are free, confidential, and you can remain anonymous. Call them, Sharryn; you're worth that kind of help.
