Singling out and targeting for abuse...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

As the only boy, it sounds as though you were targeted for abuse, Ralph. Your mother crossed a line that should never be crossed, especially when she invited your sister(s) to join in. I understand why you don't want to write about "other things" your mother did to you.

If you haven't already, I suggest you read the following articles on this site:Whether or not you see yourself and your mother in the above articles, I strongly urge you to seek out some form of counselling, Ralph. Dealing with the repercussions of what you endured is too difficult to do alone.

Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
