Always remember, none of what happened was your fault...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

I'm glad you're seeking help because you can't deal with this alone. Trust in the process, Polly, and trust in your SELF. Counselling will be a grueling process, but it will be worth it in the end. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Counselling is the best way forward for all who have been abused
by: maurice

Polly B, The innnocence and vunerability of children is so beuatiful, natural, real, I cannot understand how a Father/Mother/family member or indeed any any one irrespective of age could take that away from them like happened to you. It was not your fault, don't blame yourself or your sister. See and know the wrong that was done to you by unnatural human beings of the male species. Animalistic and even animals don't pee on each other.Darlene was brief in her comment but all Love in her advice and suggestions. Make the effort to do what she encourages you to do. You begin today loving yourself back to the wonderful and beautiful you that you have been since your birthing day. Begin letting go of through counselling and with alot of help from your chosen trusted friends. Break with your past abuse, find people who truly love honour and respect you who you really are NOW. Respect and love your own body, Look in the mirror and think positive thoughts of love, affirmation, gentleness, kindness to it and yourself. Become active and alive in your community, have a healthy mind in a healthy body. Join clubs and groups of likeminded women/people who look out for each other and care about each others welbeing in a wholesome way. I can, I will, I must, Polly B think positive, act positive be positive with a little help from your real friends. Be a winner over abuse. There is full life after once I tell myself so. Your the best Polly and Darlene acknowledges that too.
