Those in the field generally agree that corporal punishment that includes ritualism and the act of baring one's bottom most definitely have a sexual element attached. The sad part is, society believes this form of punishment is acceptable. Yes, even today, Phil. We just hear of those opposed more often than we used to; an overwhelming percentage of people STILL believe in corporal punishment, which I believe is simply legalized child abuse. Trouble is, this acceptance effectively enables the sexual fetish by the adult. You knew not to tell. You also knew that telling would likely get you into more trouble. Your aunt knew that, so she was safe in acting out her fetish on you under the guise of discipline. You were sexually abused and assaulted, Phil. Whether or not you blame anyone, you were victimized.
