Keep telling...
by: Darlene Barriere - Webmaster

Paige, don't stop telling. Keep telling until someone pays attention. CPS didn't help you that one time, but you can escalate the report to the social worker's supervisor. Consider contacting one of the hotlines listed on my stories page, depending on where you live, in order to talk to someone confidentially. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Oh my heart went out to you as you told your story
by: maurice

Paige get help, write again, let out your hurts and pains the effects of your Father's abuse on you. Oh you almost brought tears to my eyes telling how he picked you up roughly and carried you home and beat you. too often I saw that scenario growing up. emotionally with that bit of physical your father abused you. get help, talk to someone you really trust. maybe a teacher or counsellor at school. they will help you. I know you are scared about many things if you do but I can assure you once you begin telling you will get all the help you need. Paige be safe.

Mine too
by: Anonymous

Paige, my so-called dad is a jerk, too. Earlier today, he said "Are you deaf?" to my face and it really hurts my feelings! I hate him so much and I am sorry that you had a father like that as well. The sooner you tell someone, the better! Darlene is right, Paige! Please tell someone and keep telling until they will finally help you.
