 You are taking back control of your life...

Norma, I'm so glad to learn that one, you had the courage the leave such an unhealthy marriage, and two, that you are now seeing a psychologist. Of course you would have trust issues after what you endured as a child and then as an adult. Your psychologist should be able to help you come to terms with all that, but it will be grueling work. Work that is worth it. But more importantly, YOU'RE worth it. Always remember: You survived the worst of it already. As you move through your counselling sessions, you will be going through the process in safety. These people cannot hurt you any longer. You are taking back control of your life; there is a great deal of power in that. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

 Why? I will keep asking while knowing of parents who should not be.

Daily, I try to keep hope alive in Human Nature, I do by my Faith in A Creator God. Whom the majority of human beings (His Children) believe in and who LOVE and respect each other because of that belief. Norma P you are one strong Woman, living through such abuse and hell on earth for the past 26 years of your life. All your born days of ffty three years you have been used and abused. You are such a brave woman, courageous, with such inner belief and strength in yoursefl to do what you did. Good on you. Darlene that Angel sent from on high has given you love words through her empowering comment to you. Just accept she wants what is your right and dignity, Respect and to be loved. I want the same for you. Hug yoursefl back to good feelings about yourself. Don't Quit. You are the winner now. great you are apart from those horrible human beings (in name only) but animalistic in their living. They don't deserve the name Human. I'm angry in my belly as I share with you my feelings. Please Norma P stay and live around good people who walk with you now.

i am 23, and reading your story was as if you are living it now, seems you have never been truely happy, i have prayed for you that the day will come, that you can just focus on yourself and realize that you are a precious soul...you have been to hell and back, and you have made it, you are with us, and thank God you had the strength to push on, take a minute today, and just love yourself....you are amazing and have fought thru extreme and discusting circumstances but YOU MADE IT!!! god bless you and i pray that you have peace and rest....
