Great wonderful human person behind Undisclosed 23. You found a starting point to clear your mind You're 17, your intelligent, your confused and maybe rightly so because your Mom did not explain, love or explain your fathers sickness/illness problem with drink etc. As a child that certainly hard to understand. Darlene has guided you to a place where you can begin helping yourself. You sure do need someone to really help you in through your confused state of mind. At 17 it's great you realize you need guidance and help. You'll be fine once you share your life's journey to date with a qualified and trusting person I.E counsellor/therapist. I am almost certain you have a friend or two besides boy/girl relationships that you have shared your confusion with. That Friend or friends are your life line to living a full life after abuse. Most that I know of who were abused lived in a confused state of mind about it all for years. You're the lucky one at 17 realising you need it to be sorted so that you can get on with your life. One day at a time take but be sure you get all the help that is available to you where you live. Darlene has guided you in the right direction it is all up to you now. Live well, laugh alot, Love much. Hi, Always believe in yourself. Build up your own self worth Self easteem. Begin today having a good mirror image of yourself. I'm Special. I love me. Hug that wonderful and beautiful me in the mirror. No negative's believe's about yourself only positive one's.
