It is always so heartwarming to learn of foster parents who brought, who bring, true love into the life of an abused child. Just don't underestimate what YOU brought to them by having you in their lives. They understood that it would take time for you to transition to their home and their love. They had patience because they knew you were worth it, and because they knew how you would enrich their lives just by being in it. It is equally heartwarming to learn how much you appreciate what they meant to you. May the love they showered you with become a catalyst for you, not just with gifts of appreciation for them, but in ways that will help other children. THAT would be a beautiful legacy of their love. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me. I send you and Mary and Steve love and light.
