Just for the record, you were sexually abused. It's call non-contact sexual abuse. Your abuser may or may not have been grooming you for more, depending on his sick "tastes". Not all abusers resort to contact sexual abuse. Please check out my page titled Definition of Sexual Abuse here on this site for more information.

You absolutely unequivocally did the right thing by telling. By telling, you're helping to bring his actions out in the open. Even when misguided adults don't believe you, they will likely keep the information in the back of their minds, which could help prevent more abuse. But also, by telling, you're putting the abuser on notice that his abuse will not be tolerated and that you KNOW what he does, having been victimized by him as a child. And don't blame yourself. This manipulative abuser can get what he wants because he purposely chooses victims that are young and vulnerable. By offering pot and alcohol, sometimes youth will consider him a "friend". But when things get weird, they are too fearful to say anything. Bless you for speaking out! Keep up the great work!!! I send you love, light and healing energy.
