For goodness sake, you've got to stop blaming yourself for what you did and didn't do as a little girl. I've said this multiple times over the past few days, but feel the need to say it yet again: You are putting mature adult values on yourself as a little girl. And while your argument may seem sound to you, the reasons behind it are flawed. First of all, you didn't know that what was happening at the hands of this sick pedophile was done on purpose or that it was truly wrong. And even if you did, you were a powerless child, likely taught to obey your elders. He had all the power, Laura. You had little or none. You only knew you didn't like what he did. You couldn't possibly predict that he would molest other children. Secondly, and probably most importantly, what you also don't realize is that he was very likely already molesting ALL of you at the same time. He didn't move to them because he couldn't get to you; he was already molesting all of them. So please stop blaming yourself. Blame lies squarely on HIS shoulders. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
