Thank YOU, for updating my visitors and me, for sharing more of your story, and for including such an important message. I'm delighted that you are going to see another counsellor. They are not all created equally. If you can't or don't trust your counsellor, then healing can't happen. The fact that you really want healing is huge. Be honest with this counsellor, and try not to be afraid of your emotions. Always remember that the emotions are the residual of what you have ALREADY lived. In other words, you already survived the worst of it; the emotions really can be easier, as long as you look at them the right way. When I learned that, my own therapy years ago became so much easier and so much more valuable.

So good to know that this site continues to help you, Kimberly.

Ah sure you brought the best out in yourself and Darlene
by: maurice

Kimberly your the best, stay brave, stay strong, your on the right path, you'll be fine because you want to be true to yourself. I am the most important child ever birthed. Dwell on that more and not on the circumstances and your abuse. You love yourself enough and have loved yourself to get help for those awful and traumatic years of your childhood/teenage years. Hi as we (you) begin another year 2010 become more active and alive with other likemindied people in sporting or cultural activities. The more we intergrate with others the less we dwell on ourselves because we have a healthy miond in a healthy body. If we are part of a team and change and shower together we get a greater sense of the beauty of our own bodies naturally. You can look in the mirror more naturally too and be gentle and kind to your body, erasing the memories, maybe the bruises and dirtiness that abvuse does to one's body. Kimberly I believe in you. Darlene believes in you with her absolute heartfelt words of love, support, and encouragement to you. Great you brought out her natural and true side by getting her to admit the powerfulness of her site. She's a very qualified woamn and is in demand. I (we) her aqauaintances/visitors in need know she is most empowering to each one personally when she writes a comment. Darlene you give hope, a slow start to healing by what you say to each visitor in that comment. Of course that is your prayer tha each visitor will get off their bottoms and take action to what you Tell them is the best way forward. Thank You. Kimberly now begin to bring out the best in YOURSELF.
