KHL have counsellors who will listen to you and discuss your options. The service is available 24 hours a day for children, youth and young adults between the ages of 5 - 25. Their counselling services are free, confidential, and you can remain anonymous. Kimberly, abuse is the same the world over, sadly within many families Fathers abuse their own flesh and blood without thinking of the lasting effects it will have on their innocent/vunerable children. You sure do not deserve to be abused by him or indeed by another. Darlene's heart goes out to you personally in her comment to you. At you age I am sure you have at least one other whom you share the pain of your abuse to as well as you related it to Darlene and her visitors. Her site is so empowering if each of her visitors take action and really try to get the help she know is very important to begin the healing from being abused or abuse. Kimberly you are a child like any child I meet in my daily journeying here in Ireland. Gentle, sensitive, needing to be loved and to love. Your childhood is being ruined by this controller/abuser. Get him out of your Mam's life and yours and sadly in time your small sister will be in his grips. You were brave and courageous to write your story on Darlene site, be that now and talk to people in authority, a counsellor/therapist. Austrailia is one big state I only hope you can avail of helping services in your area. Please make yourself safe, I can, I will, I must. All because I am Worth It.
