First of all, the terrible things your parents say to you are not true. The fact that they are saying these things tells me that they are very troubled, and that they are taking their anger and hostilities out on you. That's not fair, and it's not right. You deserve so much more than that. Secondly, you are smart and worthy. You are a wonderful person. You deserve to be on the planet; and I for one am delighted that you are here, regardless of what your troubled parents say. They need help for their problems. You need help too. Please contact Australian Kids Help Line at 1800 55 1800. KHL have counselors who will listen to you and discuss your options. The service is available 24 hours a day for children, youth and young adults between the ages of 5 - 25. Their counseling services are free, confidential, and you can remain anonymous. You can visit their website by copying & pasting the following URL into your browser: http://www.kidshelp.com.au/template/standard.aspx?s=129&p=104&r=2&b=1

You're worthy of this kind of help, Kim. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

Such uncontrolled sadism

Kim, your so-called parents are wrong. You are not a jerk; you are not stupid; you are not worthless; you are smart, articulate and worthy of love, dignity and respect. You are not a mistake; you are a miracle. You deserve so much better that what they did to you. They should've known better and loved and cherished you in the first place. They need help, but you need help too, so the sooner you tell, the better. Darlene is right! Please tell someone you really trust and keep telling until he/she will finally listen to you!
