Your mother was one sick excuse of a human being, and your father turned a blind eye, refusing to see what was so obvious. There were clear signs of abuse, and when he found you trying to hang your Self...stupid isn't the word I'd use. What kind of a father doesn't see what is so clearly a child of his that is being abused and in desperation! And your neighbour...my gosh, when a child is picking up scraps for food, that child is hungry or starving. NEVER bring that child to their parent; always treat it as abuse and report it to the appropriate Child Protective Agency, especially nowadays. I know in Ireland such agencies didn't exist when you were a child, Kevin. You were betrayed by so many. Please seek help for your Self in the form of counselling or therapy. It's never too late. Again, I send you love, light and healing energy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.
