I'm delighted you're in therapy. As difficult as it is, as much work as it is, it really is the way to actually deal with the repercussions of what happened to you. The questions you ask are questions you really need to take up with your therapist. Hash them out in your sessions. As for the additional memories, that's very common. And it's a sign of progress, as it shows you are able to release what you've blocked before. Just stay in therapy. Thank you for sharing your story with my visitors and me.

ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF:
by: maurice

Kaitlyn 1: Ohio came at me from two sides this morning: from a teacher who befriended me and all the young people I was with in Ohio from Ireland 2001-2002-2003: we ahve remained friends and she was telling me it is winter time there right now: Then your great and good news you are in therapy but find it hard: stay with Darlene and her loving words to you: especially her comment this time: You be brave, be strong you be true to your own inner strength: Saying I will: I can: I must: because I am WORTH it: Kaitlyn 1: as you wrote so naturlly with your many Questions Why??? then naturally trust yourself and your therapist with you fears, doubts, etc as to the Why part: she'll put all in perspective for you: I am a sun flower: what kind of flower are you: Half my sun flower blocked out part of the real me from having been abused: once I told a counsellor I had the inner strength to push back those heavy petals and I began to see my body beautiful and see a whole new me in the loving and the getting on with my life: Kaitlyn 1 the sessions with your therapist will be painful for a time then you'll find peace as you free yourself of your memories and questions of the people who abused you: Be gentle and kind on yourself wonderful and beautiful you; have a healthy mind in a healthy body: etc
